Artist statement:

In my practice, the exploration of shapes and methods serves as a personal reconnection to a primitive simplicity, inspired by archaeology, aesthetic markers from prehistoric civilizations, and sci-fi. These inspirations reflect not only a fascination with the past but also a respect for ancient forms that embody a timeless simplicity and universal logics.

My creative decisions are driven by an instinctual opposition and revision of nature's role and the elements in art, particularly in a time when complexity and digitization are the norm.

At the core of my creative process, I orchestrate experiments—deliberately surrendering to the unpredictable forces of chance. This controlled release to the elements creates a dialogue between intention and unpredictability, which is reflected in the works themselves.

Conceptually, my works follow clear and intuitive principles drawn from natural processes, which guide the method and material choices. My technique is defined by a primitive materiality, such as burns and melts, finished simply—embracing the raw, unadorned aesthetic of primordial energy, in contrast to more ornate presentations.

Moving forward, I aim to delve deeper into firing processes and explore the core aesthetic imprint of nature's and destruction's wildness. My works absorb these destructive forces and reframe them in new expressions, serving as a reminder of the potential for renewal amid destruction.
