Prototyper_smoke drawings

In Prototyper, two folded canvases are placed together like a sandwich, allowing the smoke to create mirrored impressions. Small amounts of colored smoke powder are positioned in the folds and ignited; the burn, pressure and handling determine the final marks. As blue and yellow smoke mix into green, and longer burns leave gray soot, each work becomes a unique atmospheric imprint shaped by the tension between control, chance and the mirrored surface.
